Breakerspace for Tweens & Teens

Sometimes destruction is its own reward. This breakerspace with local IT expert Peter Ferlazzo is your chance to take apart and explore the inner workings of everday technology--digital cameras, desk fans, small kitchen appliances, and more--without having to figure out how to put them back together! You will be presented with a variety of electronic and mechanical items and the tools necessary to dismantle them, and Peter will provide advice and insight as you figure out what makes these gadgets tick (or spin, beep, whirr, etc.). Snacks will be provided. This 90-minute event is free and open to tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12. Please register online at seekonkpl.org/events.For more information, call Adult Services at the library at (508) 336-8230 or email teens@seekonkpl.org.
