She will also discuss how the genre educates readers seeking ways to embrace life-long learning. The event will include readings from Daly's books, book sale, and signing. The presentation will be held at Southworth Library.Inspired by an unknown fact about an ancestor discovered through genealogy research, Janis Robinson Daly wrote her first novel, The Unlocked Path, which celebrates pioneering women doctors at the turn of the 20th Century. Its sequel, The Path Beneath Her Feet, honors the work of the American Women’s Hospitals in rural America during the 1930s. Daly's most recent novel, Under Two Flags, retells the true story of a Boston woman, Josephine Marzynski, who travels to Berlin at the height of the Great War to study opera. Her annual literary citizenship program, #3
